Con el próposito especial de compartir con familia y amigos, Alison y yo decídimos en iniciar este blog (sin traducción al español) para que cada uno de usted forme parte de la vida de nuestro fututo bebe. Por mucho tiempo estuvimos buscando un nombre para el blog y finalmente decidimos usar el sobrenombre que hemos estado usando para llamar a nuestro bebe durante todo este tiempo del embarazo de Alison. "Poppy Seed" significa: Semilla de Amapola y empezamos a usarlo desde que iniciamos a tener noción del tamaño del bebe al inicio del embarazo. Ahora con lo rápido que ha crecido ya no tiene el tamaño de una semilla de mostaza pero Alison y yo seguimos llamandole de la misma manera. Estamos aún en espera de saber si será niño o niña. Alison y yo no tenemos preferencia alguna y solo esperamos que la llegada de este bebe al mundo sea sin mayores complicaciones. Este próximo viernes 2 de Diciembre estaremos practicando un ultrasonido para ver por primera vez al bebe. Por favor, no se pierdan la primera foto del bebe.
Alison and I are pleased to share with family and friends the upcoming arrival of our baby. It was hard to choose a name for this blog. We tried to so many names and finally we decided to just call it "Poppy Seed". We've been calling the baby "Poppy Seed" since we learned how small the baby was at the beginning of Alison's pregnancy. Now Poppy Seed is not very little anymore however we still use the nickname. We don't know if we'll be having a boy or a girl. Alison and I don't have any preference and we just hope that the arrival of this baby is smooth. Next Friday (December 2) we will be having an Ultrasound and for the first time we'll be getting the first picture of our baby. Please check the blog to see the sneak peak picture.
